Sometimes healing involves more than the latest in cutting-edge treatments and advanced research. Now on display at the Center for Care and Discovery, these works of art by a diverse group of local, renowned artists have been collected in partnership with the Healing Arts Program, an organization committed to the restorative power of the arts at the University of Chicago Medicine.

The donated artwork, such as Michiko Itatani’s imaginative pieces from the “Cosmic Theater Series,” speaks to the human ability to invent and synthesize, and find hope during our greatest challenges. Check out a full gallery of the works on our Facebook page.
