Registration Now Open for the Comer Children’s Hospital RBC Race for the Kids

RBC Race for the Kids 2013

Registration is now open for the University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children’s Hospital RBC Race for the Kids, held this year on Sunday, October 5, 2014.

Join us in making a difference in the lives of children who receive care at the forefront of medicine. Contributions from the Comer RBC Race for the Kids (formerly the Comer Kids’ Classic) fund research by some of the most talented physicians in the country, allowing us to provide the best possible care for our youngest patients. In 2013, more than 1,700 participants helped raise over $310,000 for Comer Children’s Hospital.

The USATF (IL-10117-JW) certified, chip-timed 5K Run/Walk is a highlight of the Chicago running calendar and a wonderful family-focused event. We welcome all fitness levels. The Kids’ Dash is a 200-yard race for children ages six and under, and the Kids’ Mile is a one-mile chip-timed run recommended for students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. Over 200 children participated in last year’s Kids’ Mile.

The race begins in the University of Chicago Main Quadrangle in Hyde Park, Chicago. For more information about training programs, sponsorship, or race day vendor opportunities, please visit the race registration page, or contact Rachel Grandi at (773) 834-1980 or rgrandi@mcdmail.uchicago.edu.
