Science Life has a new home: The Forefront

After 1,881 posts and almost nine years, Science Life has a new home: The Forefront, a new science, health and wellness news and information website for the University of Chicago Medicine, the Biological Sciences Division and the Pritzker School of Medicine.

The site features the latest news, research and clinical advances using articles, videos and other multimedia content to spotlight UChicago Medicine scientists, clinicians, nurses and patients.

From innovative treatments for cancer, cardiovascular disease, digestive diseases and neurological disorders to the far-reaching potential of basic science research using big data, genetics and the microbiome, The Forefront chronicles how UChicago Medicine is advancing science, medicine, health and wellness.

As part of this initiative, Science Life has been folded into The Forefront as a dedicated channel featuring the latest advances in clinical and scientific research. The most recent articles from Science Life have been migrated to The Forefront, while older stories will remain archived here.

We will continue to cover the same type of basic science research and biomedical discoveries at The Forefront that we always have on Science Life. For readers who receive email notifications of new posts, we will be launching a new email newsletter in the coming year.

Thank you to all the contributors and readers who helped build Science Life into a leading voice for science at UChicago over these past nine years. We’re excited to begin our new chapter.
